Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts gain global attention even Indian media covers

Pakistan’s recent engagements on the diplomatic front are increasingly being acknowledged in global discussions, prompting broader coverage across regional media outlets.

Analysts note that shifting geopolitical narratives and international responses have contributed to renewed focus on Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach. Even the Indian media was forced to cover Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, with several top channels breaking the news of Pakistan’s high-level delegation landing in Tehran, Iran.

A high-level Pakistani delegation has arrived in Tehran for important diplomatic engagements aimed at discussing regional developments and the possible resumption of negotiations between Iran and the United States.

Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is leading the delegation and is expected to hold high-level talks with Iranian officials during the visit. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is also accompanying the delegation.

Currently, Pakistan’s foreign policy is receiving renewed attention as the country pursues simultaneous high-level diplomatic engagements. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is currently visiting key Gulf partners, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar, while Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is holding talks in Iran. These parallel visits come as Pakistan plays an active role in encouraging regional dialogue amid the ongoing crisis, including efforts linked to broader Iran-related negotiations.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Saudi Arabia on an important official visit. At the airport, the Prime Minister and his delegation received a warm welcome from the Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq. According to official sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman later today for high-level talks.
