Here is a complete guideline on how to renew your NADRA B-Form, also known as the child registration certificate.
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has advised parents to obtain the B-Form on time and ensure it is renewed when it expires.
According to a social media post issued by NADRA, parents should register their child’s birth with the relevant Union Council within 30 days of birth and then obtain the child’s first B-Form from NADRA.
How to apply?
To obtain a B-Form from the NADRA office, parents must bring their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) numbers along with the child’s Union Council birth certificate or CRMS number.
If a passport is required for a child under the age of three after obtaining the B-Form, the child must be brought along for a photograph.
Otherwise, children above the age of three must be present during the application process.
Parents can also apply for a B-Form from home through the Pak ID mobile application.
B-Form fee
The fee for a normal B-Form is Rs50 and the document can be collected within seven days.
The executive service costs Rs500, and the B-Form is issued within one day.
Biometric verification requirements
For children up to the age of three, a photograph is not required. However, if a passport is to be issued after obtaining the B-Form, a photograph will be mandatory, while fingerprints will not be required.
For children aged between three and 10 years, a photograph is compulsory.
For children aged between 10 and 18 years, both a photograph and fingerprints are mandatory.
