Oppo K15 is considered one of the best gaming phone as it has a long-lasting battery life with an active cooling system.
OPPO has expanded its K15 smartphone lineup in China with the launch of the K15 Pro Plus.
The mobile company has introduced a new model aimed at users seeking extended battery life and sustained gaming performance.
The handset joins the K15 Pro and K15 Pro+, which were unveiled in April, and retains a similar design while adding an active internal cooling fan intended to reduce heat during gaming and other demanding tasks.
The K15 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,760 × 1,256 pixels and supports adaptive refresh rates of 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz.
The screen offers a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and includes an optical fingerprint scanner beneath the display.
Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 Super processor, the phone is available in a single configuration with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The officials of Oppo said that the device combines an active cooling fan with a 4,950-square-millimetre vapour chamber to help maintain stable performance during prolonged use.
The smartphone carries an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance and supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS and an infrared blaster for controlling compatible home appliances. It runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
For photography, the K15 is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera featuring optical image stabilisation, alongside a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 143-degree field of view. A 50-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus is included for selfies and video calls.
One of the device’s headline features is its 8,000mAh battery, matching the capacity offered in the higher-end K15 Pro+. It also supports 80W wired fast charging.
The OPPO K15 is priced at around $340 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant and is already on sale in China. The company has not announced whether the model will be launched in international markets.
