Pakistan Armed Forces carried out a series of fast-paced, intelligence-based operations as part of their anti-terrorism campaign against Indian-backed groups, including Fitna Al Khwarij and Fitna Al Hindustan.
The security forces eliminated 26 terrorists linked to Fitna Al Khwarij in four separate operations conducted on February 24, 2026. Similarly, in another operation in Sambaza, Balochistan, Pakistan, the armed forces killed eight militants linked to Fitna Al Hindustan.
Security forces detected the movement of a group of militants near Hassan Khel in North Waziristan, close to the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, as they attempted to infiltrate into Pakistan. Troops quickly engaged the group and, after a precise operation, killed one militant linked to the Indian-backed Fitna Al Khwarij. Officials confirmed that the slain militant was an Afghan national.
In a separate intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat district, security personnel targeted a militant hideout. After a heavy exchange of fire, troops killed three militants at the site.
At the same time, forces carried out two operations in Narmi Khel, Bannu district, where they killed ten militants. Acting on reliable intelligence, troops also conducted an operation in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, and eliminated twelve militants there.
In another operation in Sambaza, Zhob district, security forces killed eight militants linked to Fitna Al Hindustan following an intense gun battle.
During these operations, troops recovered weapons and ammunition from the dead militants, who had been involved in several terrorist activities in the region.
The security forces reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the country’s borders. They continue clearance operations in the affected areas and have vowed to press ahead with the counterterrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam”, aiming to eliminate foreign-sponsored militancy from Pakistan.
