Pakistan’s overseas troubles started with a 3-0 series whitewash in Australia during the 2023-24 season. The pattern persisted in South Africa the following season, where the side suffered two further defeats, and then continued during a tour of Bangladesh in May 2026, where Pakistan lost both Tests of the series.
Latest defeat in Trinidad
Pakistan’s newest setback came after they failed to chase a target of 211 against the West Indies, collapsing to 120 all out in their second innings. Captain Babar Azam was the lone resistance, finishing unbeaten on 58 off 107 balls with nine boundaries, while Mohammad Abbas added 23 runs.
West Indies pacer Jayden Seales was the standout performer, claiming five wickets for 20 runs to dismantle Pakistan’s batting order. Kemar Roach and Justin Greaves picked up two wickets apiece, and Shamar Joseph took one, as the hosts sealed a 90-run victory.

The result has given the West Indies a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series, with Pakistan now searching for ways to ending a losing streak that has spanned three continents and more than two years without an away win.
