Legendary Pakistani bowler and former Test captain Wasim Akram has reportedly lost his pet dog when it went missing in Karachi’s DHA Phase 8 area.
The cricketer posted a story on Akram’s official Instagram account, requesting everyone to help in the search to find the missing dog and asking people to look around their local neighbourhoods.
Any information that can help to successfully locate the dog will be rewarded with Rs250,000 from the owners.
Duke is a black German Shepherd (long coat) that has no markings on it. The appeal indicated Duke’s last sighting was in DHA Phase 8.

The family has asked local residents and security guards to keep an eye out in the vicinity of the area where the dog might have gone to wander around in nearby gardens, parks, streets, rooftops, garages and other locations.
They called for anyone who knew anything about Duke to contact them so they could get the pet home safely.
In the meantime, some sources say the missing dog has been located and is expected to be recovered soon.
But, whether Duke has recovered and been reunited with the family has yet to be confirmed.
The appeal has generated attention on social media, with many people sharing the post to help with the search for the dog and bring it home safely.
