The post-Hajj operation is to commence from tomorrow, with flights of Pakistani pilgrims returning from Saudi Arabia.

Official figures indicate that 5,237 pilgrims will be brought to Pakistan on the very first day through 22 flights.

On the morning of June 1st, the first flight of the repatriation phase will arrive in Sialkot with 391 pilgrims from Jeddah.

Under the proposed route, there will be five flights to Islamabad, four flights to Karachi and Lahore, and three flights to Multan and Sialkot respectively.

Also two flights have been arranged to reach Faisalabad and one flight is arranged in Quetta.

In total, the post-Hajj operation will take place on a large scale as 119,000 Pakistani pilgrims will be returning under the government Hajj scheme.

The return process will be facilitated by 471 flights that will be flown by Pakistan national airline, private airlines and Saudi aviation services.

The authorities have announced that it will go on till 30th June for safe and orderly return of all pilgrims to the country.

In another interesting development, a video of former Pakistan cricket captain and legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram became viral on the internet.

In the clip, Akram is stoning the symbolic pillars of the devil, Rami al-Jamarat.

What made the story interesting for the public was his unique style through which he executed the ritual with his trademark leg-breaking bowling style.

Another pilgrim caught the moment and it was uploaded onto the internet, garnering lots of feedback from fans.

One of the greatest left arm fast bowlers of all time Wasim Akram performed Hajj in Makkah and has been posting a few snapshots of his spiritual journey on social media.
