Various online services display images of cows, bulls, goats, sheep, and camels along with details such as weight, age, and price, allowing consumers to make informed choices easily. Some platforms also offer the option of booking a share in collective Qurbani, enabling users to participate in Qurbani at a lower cost.
In addition, online butcher booking services are also available, through which users can select the timing and type of service according to their convenience. According to experts, this sector is experiencing growth every year, and this year as well, there has been a significant increase in demand for online Qurbani platforms.
Some citizens who bought animals from online livestock markets said that online shopping has saved them a lot of trouble. They no longer need to struggle through crowded cattle markets or worry about being cheated.
According to them, both the price and quality of the animals are guaranteed when purchased online, which makes the process trustworthy. In these online markets, prices are usually determined according to the weight of the animal, and customers are satisfied with this system. They also said that if a buyer is not satisfied after seeing the animal online, they can choose and purchase another animal instead.
The buyers further stated that the government should promote the online purchase of sacrificial animals for the convenience of the public, especially considering the law-and-order and economic situation of the country.
