Sindh govt to begin recruitment for vacant grade 5 to 15 posts

The Sindh government has decided to launch a new recruitment drive to fill vacant positions in Grades 5 to 15 across 13 provincial government departments. The hiring process aims to provide employment opportunities to qualified candidates who have successfully cleared the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) recruitment test.

Interview schedule and recruitment process

  • Interviews will begin on August 5, 2026, with the recruitment process starting from the Hyderabad Division
  • Oral interviews will be conducted at the divisional level for candidates who have successfully passed the IBA test
  • The interview process will continue from August 5 to August 25, 2026
  • Eligible candidates will be invited according to the official interview schedule issued by the relevant authorities

Departments included in the recruitment drive

New appointments will be made in the Energy, Livestock and Fisheries, Auqaf, Zakat, Ushr and Religious Affairs, and College Education departments. Recruitment will also take place in the Works and Services, Board of Revenue, Transport, Mass Transit, and Sports and Youth Affairs departments. Additional vacancies will be filled in the Agriculture, Supply and Prices, Labour and Manpower, Anti-Corruption, Culture and Tourism, and Women Development departments.

Moreover, the interviews will be organised on a divisional basis to ensure that the recruitment process is conducted efficiently and that candidates from different regions are given an equal opportunity to participate. The government is expected to issue detailed interview schedules and venue information for eligible applicants before the process begins.

However, successful candidates selected through the interviews will be appointed to Grade 5–15 positions in their respective departments.

On the other hand, previously, the Sindh Cabinet approved a relief package for provincial government employees, introducing a new differential allowance for employees in Grades 1 to 16 and increasing the conveyance allowance by 50% for all provincial government workers.
