Rs1,500 prize bond draw date announced

The Central Directorate of National Savings has announced the draw date for Rs1,500 and Rs100 prize bonds.

According to the schedule, both prize bond draws will be held on August 17, 2026. The Rs1,500 prize bond draw will take place in Faisalabad, and the Rs100 prize bond draw will be held in Multan.

For the Rs1,500 prize bond draw, the first prize is Rs3 million for one winner. Three winners will each receive the second prize of Rs1 million. Additionally, 1,696 winners will receive the third prize of Rs18,500 each.

For the Rs100 prize bond draw, the first prize is Rs700,000. Three winners will each receive Rs200,000 as the second prize. 1,199 winners will receive Rs1,000 each as the third prize.

Where to purchase prize bonds

Prize bonds are a popular investment option in Pakistan as they give people the chance to win cash prizes without risking the value of their investment.

Pakistani citizens can purchase prize bonds by submitting a valid CNIC copy and an application form at SBP-BSC offices, designated commercial bank branches, or National Savings Centres.

Eligibility

Only those prize bonds that were issued at least 60 days before the draw date will be eligible for the draw.

After the results are announced, bond holders will be able to check their prize bond numbers or download the complete results from the official National Savings website.

Prize money will be subject to withholding tax. Tax filers will pay 15 per cent withholding tax. Additionally, non-filers will pay the applicable withholding tax rate under the prevailing tax rules.

How to check prize bond online

To check the draw results of the prize bond online, one will have to visit the official website of the NSP. Then

  • Select the National Savings prize bond results page.
  • Select the prize bond denomination (Rs100 or Rs1,500)
  • Choose the relevant draw date
  • In the search bar, candidates can search their prize bond number or download the entire list in a minute
