High-voltage wire falls on moving bus, leaving one dead and several injured

A tragic incident occurred near Head Roshan Din on Faisalabad Road when a high-voltage electric wire broke and fell onto a passenger bus, killing the conductor and injuring six others.

According to rescue officials, the injured were immediately shifted to DHQ Hospital. Four of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.

Eyewitnesses said panic spread among the passengers after the wire fell onto the bus, and several people jumped out of the vehicle to save their lives.

Meanwhile, some brave passengers risked their own lives and managed to separate the electric wire from the bus using wooden sticks, preventing further casualties.

Following the incident, citizens questioned the performance of the relevant authorities and demanded an immediate and transparent investigation into the tragedy.

They called for strict action against those responsible and urged authorities to ensure regular inspections and timely repairs of high-voltage electric wires to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
