Iran is implementing a large-scale relief operation for its people, amid the country’s ongoing economic crisis due to its conflict with the United States.
Amid a financial crisis in households, the Iranian CNG Stations Union is launching a nationwide initiative to supply free compressed natural gas (CNG) to motorists.
Under the campaign named “One Iran, One Heart, One Voice”, according to the reports of Iranian media, owners of CNG filling stations have willingly participated in this campaign throughout the country.
There are said to be over 1000 CNG stations participating in the programme and providing free CNG fuel to CNG vehicle owners to reduce the burden on families facing a shortage of money for their daily expenses.

The effort is in response to Iran’s ongoing economic woes, such as inflation, shortages, and the increase in financial pressures brought on by the conflict for months.
The owners of the stations believe that they will be able to help the common people and ease transportation costs as the country struggles in a difficult time by providing free CNG.
The campaign has garnered much praise as a model of public solidarity, with businesses offering support to communities facing economic challenges in the country.
The free fuel programme is likely to help thousands of motorists who commute and go to work in CNG-powered vehicles.
Since the beginning of the conflict, community support measures have been taken by businesses in Iran.
During the early part of the war, a number of supermarkets were seen running such schemes that people could grab essential items without having to pay for them right away.
Owners of stores put up posters promoting buying what is needed and paying bills once the fighting was over.
