The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) governor has taken steps to improve law and order and strengthen the police.
The provincial government is preparing to provide modern armoured vehicles to police personnel in the merged districts.
The vehicles have arrived at the Governor’s House in Peshawar. They will be handed over to the police at a formal ceremony.
According to sources, the armoured vehicles have modern safety features. Each vehicle is worth millions of rupees.
The purpose is to improve police operations in the merged districts and help officers deal with security challenges.
Police in the merged districts often face challenges in maintaining law and order. The new vehicles are expected to provide better protection to officers during operations.
Sources said a formal ceremony will be held to hand over the vehicles to the police.
The KP governor has said that maintaining peace and law and order in the province is his top priority.
The provision of these vehicles is part of efforts to strengthen the police and improve security.
